Baby Boss all grown up

Ok. I'm gonna ressurect my blog right now. Hehehe.

Baby Boss' bday! Was erm... on the 20th of June. Which means, this post is about 3 weeks late. Well... I say, better late than never! What's more important is that she's now 21 and legal! Woohoo! Babe, I am so gonna pour alcohol down ur throat one day! Muahaha!

To begin with, we celebrated her bday on the 23rd of June cos everyone was too darn busy. Plus, Baby Boss had many cousins, aunties, uncles etc. etc. ect. who wanted to spoil her with extravagant gifts and dinners and all. Sigh. The Triad Family comes only after a few days. Again, better late than never yah!

We had dinner at this Korean Restaurant called Che Go. And Xiao Di was 30 minutes late. How rude; shouldn't Baby Boss be the one who's fashionably late? Tsk tsk... At least he turned up, though. So, couldn't complain.

Since I'm blogging about Baby Boss' special day after what seemed like 10 years, I simply couldn't remember the names of the food. But Che Go was great. Nice ambience, decor and food. Service was a bit slow, but nice. As mentioned, service was a bit slow, so as usual, we camwhored a bit while waiting for the food.

Baby Boss and her presents!

After dinner, we went to Halo Cafe. Its a place where a live band of about 3 people perform every night. Its an interesting place cos u can just request any song and if the singers know it, they'll sing it for u. And I heard its not easy to be a performer there. The auditions are a tough business and u'll only pass it if ur good enough. The downside of the place is that, its very much chinese; as in, the place caters mainly to the chinese community. So, the singers are chinese people who only know chinese songs. Give them a request for a song by Puddle of Mudd and they'll probably be scratching their heads on stage and blurt out some Jay Chou song instead. Anyway, its the place where well-known celebrities like (correct me if I'm wrong) Lin Jun Jie and Fish Leong were discovered. All in all, its a great place to chill.

Xiao Di, give it up. U can't get bitchier than Ah Ma.

Mirror, mirror, who is the Boss of them all?

"Aaahhh! There's a diamond in there!" (Psstt! I don't normally look that ugly)

Ah Ma, u da' bitch!

Happy (belated) Birthday to Baby Boss once more!
