Initially, there were so many things for me to blog about. For example, the great time I had with my friends last week when we multi-sported; karaoke, archery, movie and midnight basketball.
Then, I had the dim-sum buffet with my sisters. Yummy-licious dim-sums and at a reasonable price too. Last night, I went on a shopping spree with Naima and had an interesting dinner with Baby Boss. And today, I was sent to heaven by this ice-cream walnut brownie in Secret Recipe.
Such happy stuffs. There was like, four happenings which I could have happy-fied my blog with.
*sighs*
As usual, the stupid Brits managed to piss me off badly. So badly, all I can think of everyday is "What useless shit are they up to now?" They are so slow, its a shock that they aren't moving backwards. Gosh!
To cut a long story short, here's the correspondence between me and the University. I trust that my beloved readers would understand what's happening without needing me to explain from A-Z.

Dear Miss Simone,
I know that results for the re-sits are not out yet but should I pass, could you please send the offer letter to the Taylor's Law Office instead of my home address in RISIS? This is because I am currently in Kuala Lumpur and not my hometown; waiting for the offer letter to do my visa. There is very little time and it would be a great help if I am able to receive my offer letter directly from the Taylor's Law Office.
Additionally, may I please know when will the results be out? As mentioned above, there is not much time left and I would need to rush for my visa in addition to the preparation for the transfer to Reading.
Your effort and kind consideration in the matter is highly appreciated, and I regret any inconvenience caused. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Samantha Ho.

Dear Samantha,
If you have been successful in your recent re-sit examination, the offer letter will be sent shortly, to your HOME ADDRESS, by courier. I do not think that it is possible to alter this, but I will make enquiries on your behalf. I hope that this helps.
Kind regards
Simone

Dear Miss Simone,
Firstly, I thank you for making enquiries on my behalf. I really appreciate it. However, I do not think that I have made my situation clear enough to you. The reason I requested that the offer letter be sent to the Taylor's Law Office was because I was unable to change my home address on RISIS due to some problems.
Another important factor was that, I am currently in Kuala Lumpur, West Malaysia. My hometown is in Sabah, East Malaysia. To wait for the offer letter to reach Sabah and subsequently for my parents to courier over my offer letter to me would take at least a week.
To make matters worse, the application for a visa takes up to five working days, at least. As I have mentioned in the previous mail, there is very little time. If the offer letter was not sent to the Taylor's Law Office, it is highly likely that I would not be able to make it to Reading in time for the Refreshment Week. It was heavily emphasised during your visit to Malaysia that students do not miss Refreshment Week.
In addition to that, I have booked a flight to UK on the 25th of September. As I have mentioned above, I am from East Malaysia and it would take me one day to travel home to Sabah from Kuala Lumpur. Due to the re-sit, I was not able to go home and spend time with my parents whom I have not seen for almost a year. I really hope that I can at least spend a week at home with them before I leave for UK, assuming that I pass, of course.
On that vein, I would like to ask again, when will the results be out? I have been checking RISIS everyday for the past week and results are still not out yet, despite the fact that I sat for my re-sit exam on the 28th of August; that is almost two weeks ago! If you do not mind me asking, may I please know why is it taking so long?
Miss Simone, if what I have typed above had offended you in any way, please accept my most sincere apologies. Nevertheless, I hope that you understand the predicament that I am in, and of other transferring students as well. We really need your help in this matter.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Samantha Ho.
