London Day 1

Skipped class and took the train to London with my babes today. Woohoo! It feels good to skip lectures for a very good reason.

I tell ya, the moment we arrived in Paddington train station in London, we were already ecstatic! Finally, we were in London for the weekend! Then, we took the tube to Leicester Square and came out in Trafalgar Square! Trafalgar Square is a very, very wide place with big-ass statues everywhere and a fountain with gay-looking statues in front of the National Gallery. What is up with the English people and their statues?

In Paddington train station!

Looks small on picture but its a bloody HUGE monument!

Stupid kid at the back

Told ya it was huge...

We make the statues look less gay

We looked, we took a pic and we ran away without giving money. Shut up, we're students.

Big Ben

Telephone booth! So chio, unlike the vandalised Malaysian ones

After camwhoring, we went into the National Gallery (entrance was free). Yes, yes... very tourist-like and I was a bit apprehensive at first but then, it was actually great! They have really beautiful oil paintings and it even dated back to the 15th century, if I'm not mistaken. Definitely a must-go for art lovers!

Later, we met up with Naima's friend from Hong Kong, Leonard. He's a cute little boy of 19 years and he's rudely nice.

Having a laugh, duh~

Then at night, we had to meet up with Naima's uncle, aunt and cousin whom we'll be staying the night with. So we walked to Chinatown in Leicester Square and London at night was beautiful! Chinatown too, was gorgeous! There were so many asians, it really felt like home away from home.

One acting cute and another acting cool -_-"

One of those theatres. So beautifully lit!

Naima's relatives were so kind. They treated us to a chinese meal in a restaurant. It was bloody expensive but it tasted damn delicious. It made us all miss home though, cos eating like this was like a luxury here but its a normal everyday thing back at home.

After dinner, we stopped by this casino called Empire. Apparently, this place is a very happening place cos whenever there's a movie premiere or something, celebs would come to this place, red carpet and all and people will be qeueing up just to get a glimpse of Brad Pitt. Just like in tv. My gawd, I sound so sakai.

Nevermind. I am in UK and some of you are not. Ohohoho. Yes, I'm a bitch. Anyway, we couldn't enter the casino cos we looked like toddlers compared to the matured looking pre-teens here. Nah. Just bullshitting. We were lugging around mini luggages containing our personals and thus, not allowed in.

So colourful

So cold

Damn u, Empire. I will burn u down one day. Then you will all see UK celebs bawling in front of its ashen ruins.

Ok, this is getting more wrong by the minute. Moving on, we then went to Naima's cousin's place to bunk and it was bloody far - in some place called Tootley or something. English people love strange names. It was freezing there and we were shivering throughout the entire journey. But her place was nice and cosy.

^_^

That was the first day.
