Ok, people. Stop thinking dirty. I really do love nude colors, ie. mink, ivory, taupe, beige. Personally, I find these colors extremely feminine. They may look plain but then, with the right styles and details, they can actually make a fashion statement without being too in-ur-face. That's what I really like; subtle statements.
What else do I love? Being the girl that I am, I love all things feminine! Ruffles, frills and ribbons in nude/pastel colors are simply femininely fabulous! They are easy to wear and once worn, you transform into one classy lady. And that's what we all want to be, don't we ladies? But what about tailored pieces? The thing about tailored pieces is that they can be too harsh sometimes; if worn wrongly, we can look man-ish. The last thing you'd want is ur man to see u as another man! Turn off! So how do u feminize tailored cuts?
Take the example below.
CAOIMHE Wide Leg Trouser - £80 (click on image for more info!)Nah, nah, nah... you tell me la, how not to look like a man when you wear something like this? Fortunately for y'all, Wildberry is here to save ur day! As usual. Fashionistas read on!
Hey handsome! Yes, I'm going to Fashion Week with you :)Y'all should know this guy. He's none other than Irish couture designer, Peter O'Brien! You gotta love his creations! The way he designs his pieces and styles them... ooh la la~ I'm in love!
He was the one who designed the CAOIMHE Wide Leg Trouser above. Take a look at what he did with his tailored piece.
Fabulous!
See how he matched it with a beautiful grey ruffled top and topped it off with a frilled black blazer to give it an extra edge. Ah, feminine meets edgy. Fabulousity, people!
So now all you ladies know how to wear tailored trousers or suit up and still look stylishly feminine. Don't you love me?
*blush*
Seriously, you ladies absolutely must check out Peter O'Brien's winter collection. Its gorgeous! He makes dull colors come to life and tailored cuts oh-so-feminine! Loves!
