5 don'ts when u are sleeping

1 DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH
Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse effects on your health.

2 DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA
(psstt! This is for the ladies!)
Scientists in America have discovered those that wear bras for more than 12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it.

I wonder... what about guys? Would they have a higher risk of prostate cancer if they slept with their underwears? Of cos, this does not apply to roomy and breezy boxers. But what if those undies are damn tight? Think Superman... O.o

Hem hem! Moving on...

3 DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONE
Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phone and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.

4 DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP
People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep.

(pssssttt! Mel, now u know the effects of sleeping with ur make up on. Please stop this bad habit, ok!)

Lastly.....

5 DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE / HUSBAND
You may never wake up again.

work

I bet everyone is dying to know what is it like working in Shook Lin & Bok. I would have to say Ok lor...

Its been more than 2 weeks since I last updated my blog and at first, I was like "Hey, this would make good blog read!" but now, after all this time, I really don't feel like posting much.

Come on. Work is work. Nothing exciting, really.

But I did take some pics. Well, I meant to take pics of the Chambers' Room and the people there but for some reason, I ended up camwhoring. Ehehehehe...

Anyway, I'll just post the pics here. There's no need for an explanation. A picture speaks a thousand words. If you are still not satisfied, please go to Naima's blog!

On the way to the Industrial Courts

The flags are just so "off"

Breath-taking architecture!

Gorgeous isn't it? Oi, I meant the building!

Naima and I!

Luckily there weren't any stains on the panties!

Hehe. You must all be wondering why oh why is there a pic featuring many pairs of skanky undies? Well, this was the view which, try as hard as we're capable of, just couldn't run away from when we ate chicken rice for lunch one day. Nearly choke down the chicken meat that day. Note the yummy-licious chicken, char siew n siew yuk below!

Sluuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrpppp!

Bumming around

Naima half dead with NO workload! ^^

Very generous of Aaron (Chambee) to treat us to Starbucks!

Celebrating Kat and Kok Weng's last day of attachment!

the Monday

Now, if someone were to tell me that what was about to happen to me on my first day to work, I would laugh at them right in the face and say "Nah... that's just impossible. This stuff is for the movies, man." and then walk away still laughing like a madwoman.

*looks skyward and nods head*

Ahahahahah! Ok, that *...* part was a bit dumb. But, moving on...

The first Monday of work was some kind of mini-disaster. To begin with, the train was late. It was late for about 35 minutes, the mother****ing train! It doesn't take an idiot to guess that by the time the train arrived there would be a stampede like a scene from Ace Ventura.

And that's not all. While waiting for the train, it began to rain and it got heavier by the minute...

-_-" sheeessshhhhhhh!!!

Oh well, train came and we all squeezed into it. Reached Sentral around 5 min past eight and...

*drumrolls*

The Touch n Go counters were ALL spoilt! Dammit! And just when I was thanking God that I was smart enough to get myself a Touch n Go card to make things easier and faster...

In place of the spoilt counters, there was this old man who was holding a machine and poking at it - read: keying in people's card number for them to go through. Of all the people to put, they place an old man there. He took about 10 min per person to poke the damn thing!!!

By then, it was past 8.15am and we were feeling desperate cos we were supposed to reach Shook Lin & Bok by 8.30am!

And oh, by the way, this was the first time that the Touch n Go machines actually broke down. Wonder why it chose me and Naima's first day of work to spoil. Must be our faces.

Neway, while queuing up, Naima and I spied people walking past the old man just like that and a spark went off in our mischievious brains. Why not do the same thing?

So we did. We waltzed past the old man and out of Sentral and reached the monorail station laughing like the world was our oyster.

Ahahahahhaha... Yea. We laughed at our "smartness".

But come monorail station, we were rudely awakened to the fact that we were not that smart after all. You see, since our Touch n Go cards weren't cleared out from Sentral yet, we couldn't go through the monorail station.

*curses!*

So we had to queue up again to buy tickets. By then, we were late like shit and we just couldn't be bothered to make it on time anymore. When we finally reached Raja Chulan, after all that ridiculous hassle, the rain continued to pour and Naima did not bring her umbrella.

*shakes head*

Naima, Naima... when will u ever learn? Tsk tsk...

Despite that, both Naima and I laughed our way to Shook Lin. I mean, in situations like these, you just can't help but laugh and it also helped that we have the company of each other to see the bright side of things.

I would say that our first day was horrible and hell no, I wouldn't wanna repeat that! But it was certainly memorable...

Ahahahahahhahahahaha!!
