London Day 1

Skipped class and took the train to London with my babes today. Woohoo! It feels good to skip lectures for a very good reason.

I tell ya, the moment we arrived in Paddington train station in London, we were already ecstatic! Finally, we were in London for the weekend! Then, we took the tube to Leicester Square and came out in Trafalgar Square! Trafalgar Square is a very, very wide place with big-ass statues everywhere and a fountain with gay-looking statues in front of the National Gallery. What is up with the English people and their statues?

In Paddington train station!

Looks small on picture but its a bloody HUGE monument!

Stupid kid at the back

Told ya it was huge...

We make the statues look less gay

We looked, we took a pic and we ran away without giving money. Shut up, we're students.

Big Ben

Telephone booth! So chio, unlike the vandalised Malaysian ones

After camwhoring, we went into the National Gallery (entrance was free). Yes, yes... very tourist-like and I was a bit apprehensive at first but then, it was actually great! They have really beautiful oil paintings and it even dated back to the 15th century, if I'm not mistaken. Definitely a must-go for art lovers!

Later, we met up with Naima's friend from Hong Kong, Leonard. He's a cute little boy of 19 years and he's rudely nice.

Having a laugh, duh~

Then at night, we had to meet up with Naima's uncle, aunt and cousin whom we'll be staying the night with. So we walked to Chinatown in Leicester Square and London at night was beautiful! Chinatown too, was gorgeous! There were so many asians, it really felt like home away from home.

One acting cute and another acting cool -_-"

One of those theatres. So beautifully lit!

The "excellent service" provided in Chinatown

Naima's relatives were so kind. They treated us to a chinese meal in a restaurant. It was bloody expensive but it tasted damn delicious. It made us all miss home though, cos eating like this was like a luxury here but its a normal everyday thing back at home.

After dinner, we stopped by this casino called Empire. Apparently, this place is a very happening place cos whenever there's a movie premiere or something, celebs would come to this place, red carpet and all and people will be qeueing up just to get a glimpse of Brad Pitt. Just like in tv. My gawd, I sound so sakai.

Nevermind. I am in UK and some of you are not. Ohohoho. Yes, I'm a bitch. Anyway, we couldn't enter the casino cos we looked like toddlers compared to the matured looking pre-teens here. Nah. Just bullshitting. We were lugging around mini luggages containing our personals and thus, not allowed in.

So colourful

So cold

Damn u, Empire. I will burn u down one day. Then you will all see UK celebs bawling in front of its ashen ruins.

Ok, this is getting more wrong by the minute. Moving on, we then went to Naima's cousin's place to bunk and it was bloody far - in some place called Tootley or something. English people love strange names. It was freezing there and we were shivering throughout the entire journey. But her place was nice and cosy.

^_^

That was the first day.

schoolgirl

UK is bloody cold. And its only autumn. Fuck.

When my lovely girls; Maria, Ah Ma and Naima picked me up from Heathrow, there were frost from our mouth as we spoke. Its like smoking without ciggies. LOL. I love them so much cos they purposely woke up at 4am just to welcome me in Heathrow... and they got lost on the way.

Hahahahhaha!

Oops. I shouldn't laugh. You readers shouldn't as well. The poor darlings missed the bus and had to walk all the way to the train station in darkness and fucking coldness.

....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I love them. ^_^

Oh, I strayed from what I wanted to say. Whoopsie daisy. I got off the plane on the 28th of September early morning and was shit jetlagged. Despite the killer jetlag sensation, I went for this Freshers' Party the very next night. The theme: schoolgirls and schoolboys.

Ohohohoho. Getting dirty thoughts? Yeah, you should. I was at loss as to what to wear cos you know la, the school uniform in Malaysia sucks. We looked like WWII nurses with our whatever-blue pinafore. And I'd rather go as a duck than to wear that! But anyway, with the help of brain juice, we managed to whip up some schoolgirl outfits.

But cos I was so tired, I was running a bit late and thus, was unable to layer up. The only thing I wore was a thin formal top with mini skirt and sneakers. No leggings, no singlets.

Waiting for everyone to arrive in Wessex Bar

We started off at Wessex Bar, where everyone waited for everyone. While waiting, it was interesting to see how the Brit girls especially, dress as schoolgirls. Like, how short can their skirt be? And how many buttons are undone on her top, and oh, that's a nice black lacy bra. Hmmm, that one's better cos its red lace with push-up.

LOL.

Then, the torture begins. When the crowd had gathered, the pub crawl began. We walked to the bus station and took the bus to the pubs, and we had to walk from one pub to another. It sounds okay but not when its fucking 6 degrees out plus strong winds blowing at you! Ohmygawd... We nearly died of pneumonia.

In the first pub

Left to right: Bitch, bitch, babe, babe

L-R: Nathan, Wildberry, Ah Ma, Naima, Maria, Tom, Aaron

Yeap. The bunch of guys in the pic above are the nicer English people we've met so far. If you think Brits are nice and polite people, you are so fucking wrong. They are simply too full of themselves to realise that they are actually pretty dumb creatures. They don't mix with people other than themselves much, if not at all. And to be honest, the international students are the best. We now know 2 damn sexy Frenchmen. Ooh la la~

But that's story for another day. Damn. I strayed again. Back to the topic, after walking in the freezing cold from pub to pub, we finally went into Q Bar which was apparently, the more happening place in sad little Reading town - think: Nilai town.

Q Bar was packed! It was so damn hot in there, we were practically sweating! The number of students in there was scary cos it was so congested to the point that people had to shove and elbow their way in or out of the dance floor. And the only way u can dance was to just jump up or down. Wriggling your ass sideways was totally out of the question.

But the best part about all these were, the alcohol is fucking cheap - 2 pounds a shot, for instance - and no smoking in clubs. Smokers would have to go outside to this sealed off section to smoke. We tried their famed Aviation Fuel and it was great! I dunno what sort of alcahol was mixed in there but as long my tastebuds are happy, I'm happy!

^_^

It was fun despite the jetlag but we had to head home earlier compared to the sex-crazed and drunken party people cos I was having a hell of a headache and the other girls were damn tired.

The moment we stepped out of the club, ohohohohoh. The blast of cold air nearly KO-ed us. In the end, we took a cab back cos by the time we waited for the bus to come, we would've been human-icicles.

It was fun.

my farewell

It was emotional. Of cos it was. Its a farewell. Who the hell laughs at a farewell? Probably the world's biggest fucker. But this parting was so excrutiatingly painful. And whose fault was it? No prize for guessing.

I finally got my visa on the 26th of September. Consequently I had to postpone my flight from the 25th to the 27th. And because of that, my parents could not send me off at the airport. The only thing which they could do was to see me to my ji-mui's apartment, where I'll be staying for a night.

We had to part there. You cannot imagine what it was like and I really, really hate the angmohs who did this to me. I wanted my parents to see me off at the airport but it was just a dream, obviously.

But at least, I had my ji-muis to send me off. And the parting was no less painful. We were bawling on each other's arms right in front of the guard. But while waiting for my flight, we took some pics around KLIA.

Ji-muis! ^_^

This is how u open the bloody door

"Eh, eh... What the fuck is this!"

"Fuuuuccckkk! Our pic is being taken!"

I love my girls!

Hahahaha. The good times. It was sad cos it felt as if I left some parts of me behind; my family, my ji-muis, the 124E friends and family etc. I suppose that's part of growing older but as the saying goes biarpun jauh dari mata, dekat di hati. Er... something like that.

LOL.

By the way, UK is cold. Urgh.
