charity

Was having lunch in Asia Cafe with Naima and Da Jie last week when we decided to do a bit of charity.

Talk about random. This guy - whatever his name was - came up to us and asked whether we wanted to do our bit for charity. Normally, I would've have rejected people like these cos I find them annoying; like flies waiting to be swatted away. Plus, you never know when people like those were for real or just out to get your money. For some reason, this guy managed to capture a grain of interest from me (for the record, he was not good-looking in any way).

Then we found out that he's a first year law student from HELP University. Urgh. Its a surprise even to me that I didn't brush him off. But anyhow, I was in the mood for some charity. I didn't know why myself... but it felt good doing some charity! ^_^

Anyway, we got free bracelets in return for our donations to spastic children!

Guess which hand is mine?

Charity is good. Have you done your part for charity lately? If you haven't, now is the time!

^_^
