29/2/2008 was an awesome day for me. This was cos mah gurls celebrated my bday in advance for me and they planned well, I say!
They started off by cooking lunch for me in Ke Ping's house! They made fried pasta, errr...brown sauce chicken (not really sure what to call it) and omelette! To be honest, the food didn't look all 5 star but hey, it tasted great! I'm serious! Everyone had second and third helpings! Yummmiiieeee!!!
Oh my. Ah Ma seriously thought that if we ate that, we would all die of cancer in 2 minutes. Apparently, this was a new form of cancer - its called the Black-Omelette XXX. It kills you in 120 seconds.
Hmmpfftt! Hahahaha! By the way, the black omelette tasted sooo good! Slurrrp!
Oh, oh. This may seem random but Ke Ping's housemate had a cat. It was soooooo keee-ute! I for one, didn't really like cats but I just couldn't help playing with it! It was that cute! Since no one knew what its name was, I've decided to name it...
Clearly, its a male. Ahem!
Finally, after nearly 3 hours (who said cooking was easy?) lunch was served!
After lunch, they attempted to surprise me and somehow, managed to chase me into the toilet to wait while they set up the surprise. Their efforts did not go wasted though. I was pleasantly surprised cos I seriously did not expect it.
It was chocolate mousse and it was delicious, delicious, delicious! *Screams with glee*
Since preparing lunch and the cleaning up after it was so strenous, we all went to sing K! Wheee! Too bad Baby Boss wasn't there though, cos we could've sang Timeless, nyah! Anyhow, we camwhored like idiots again for my readers' viewing pleasure.
Karaoke was fun but it made us a little hungry despite having a heavy lunch earlier on. So, cheng cheng cheng! We had Thai food for dinner! Now people, if you want to try out Thai food, I would recommend Actually Thai restaurant in Sunway Pyramid. The setting, deco, atmosphere etc. simply puts you in the mood to dine and the food; it was heavenly!
Ok, the tomyam soup was ludacrisly spicy and yet, we couldn't stop drinking it! We all sweated loads and Maria had tears rolling down cos she accidentally swallowed a chilli. I honestly dunno what type of chillies were used but when Maria teared up, you gotta wonder what the hell was in the soup?! Ridiculously spicy but left you wanting for more! It must be black magic!
*Gasp!*
The drawbacks of the place were - the price of the food ain't too healthy for your wallet/purse and the service there was horrendous. I'm not kidding. You would expect that places like these would offer good services but, ohohoho! The waiters there would not even care to bat an eyelid in your direction if you were dressed as a student. But no biggie; just throw a bitch-fit (ahem!) and they'll come running!
*Evil laughs*
After dinner, it was on to the next (and highly important) activity - clubbing! Woohoo! So we went back to Ah Ma's place to get ready and all, and there, mah gurls... & Melvyn, gave me my pressie!
Yes, I loved my pressie and I wore it to club! Hehehe! Ah well, moving on with the story, I wanted to club in Zouk. Hell, been waiting for a long time to go there but since most of mah gurls were underaged, we could only go there this year. Riiiiggghhhttt...
The @#$%$#$% Zouk management was so f-ing strict! They looked at the birth dates and refused to let two of my friends enter.
*Rolls eyes and hurls curses*
So we had no choice but to go to Asian Heritage and club-hop. Thank goodness entrance was free for girls. But what made my clubbing outing even more sad was that for some unknown reason, it wasn't a happening night.
WTF???
Please don't tell me that the upcoming elections were making the youngsters stay at home and watch the news instead. Dammit! Normally, at such an hour, the streets would be packed and the roads lined with sexy sport cars; but that night, my gawd - you can just bring a fly-swatter and sit there and swat flies with club bouncers.
-_-"
Anywaaayyy, we first went into The Loft where we met with a pervy bouncer. He was damn flirtatious and touchy-feely. But since we flirted with him to let us all in (entry requirement was 21 years of age...again!) we had to bear with his perviness. Geez, it was creepy cos he wanted to dance with Naima and asked his friend in the club to keep an eye on us five girls!
Fuiyoh~ Lari cepat-cepat!
Since The Loft wasn't that happening as well, we left and checked out other clubs before settling in Maisons. It was horrible cos the DJ was churning out house music and the crowd was too bloody act-cool to dance. So, screw it. We girls decided to have our own fun!
(Psstt! The following pics were taken using phone cam so, its not clear)
In The Loft
Long Island of Maisons
Someone needed help to shut her jaw and someone was happy to oblige
Ah Ma would love to have eyes that big
Da Jie would love to have assets bigger than that
Posers!
Ok, fine. I'm a poser too! >.<
I grabbed her butt too, its just that you can't see it ;)
On the couch
Rawr!!!
Mirror effect went wrong...
Acting cool
Clubbing was just so relaxing! Ahh~
Let's all relax together!Ahahaha! Yes. The silly things that we did apparently caught the attention of some guys and a reporter for Juice Magazine! The reporter took pics of us and I pray that we look hot! Then, you'll be likely to see our faces in Juice!
In case no one knows (people, how could you?!) Juice is a clubbing mag. So now you know! And when people talk about Juice Mag, you won't be left in the dark thinking that fruit juices have their own mag! Isn't ushouldnotknw.blogspot.com great? Hahahaha!
Well, I would say that although the clubbing scene wasn't too happening that night, I still had fun with mah gurls! We made the night rock! Woohoo! But girls, we must, must, must go to Zouk before I turn 25. Onegai!!!
All in all, it was a great day. And I'm so grateful for mah gurls for organising such a wonderful bday for me! Love ya lots! Muaks!
*Gives them a big, big hug!*
